In view of China’s challenges in the Pacific Ocean, America is preparing to take a big step. According to a Leading Daily report, the Pentagon is looking to permanently deploy a Naval Task Force in the Pacific Ocean. This American plan also includes conducting maneuvers. For which additional budget can be provided by the US Defense Secretary.
According to the report, the US will also involve its European allies to make its plan effective. Countries like Japan and Australia may also have a presence in it. This scheme will be launched with the objective of maintaining safe trade with a free environment in the Pacific Ocean region. This move of America will give a tough challenge to China in this area.The report further said that after the deployment of the Naval Task Force in the Pacific Ocean region, there will be a continuous presence of the US and its allies in this region, which will also curb the activities of the Chinese Navy. India’s Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has mentioned India’s concerns regarding security challenges in the maritime sector and also categorically stated that India supports free trade in international sea routes.
