Train arrived in this region of Bihar after 87 years, fulfilled decades old desire of people

Rail service is going to start from Nirmali in Bihar to Saraigarh after 87 years. Located in the Mithilanchal region, this railway section was waiting for rail service for years, which has now been completed. As per media reports, the trial run of the train has been done on Sunday. Railway Minister Piyush Goyal has also shared information about starting of the railway till Nirmali.

Railway Minister Piyush Goyal said in his tweet that after the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the construction of the railway line up to Nirmali in Bihar was completed after 87 years, on which the train speed trial was done. After fulfilling the decades-old dream, people worshiped in front of the engine and shouted slogans in support of Modi Ji.

 

A news portal also told in its report that after years of listening to the train horn in Nirmali, there was a wave of joy among the people. People offered prayers in front of the engine and also raised slogans of ‘Modi is to be possible’ in support of Prime Minister Modi. Railway officials said that the department will be informed of the success of the speed trial. Then the time and date will be set for the passenger train to run.

The earthquake occurred in Bihar in the year 1934, the movement of trains between Nirmali-Saraigad was stopped due to the demolition of the tracks. Since then, Mithilanchal has been divided into two parts. In 2003, former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee laid the foundation stone for the bridge construction on the Kosi River from Nirmali College. Which was named Kosi Mahasetu.
