India is preparing the technology of container-based hospital for emergency medicine, healthcare will be available anywhere in emergency situations, know its specialty

After the Corona pandemic, the need for major development and changes in the health infrastructure of the country was felt. During the second wave of infection, many problems related to the health sector came to the fore. Keeping this in mind, the Government of India is continuously taking big steps to strengthen the health sector of the country. Now a new and great technology is being worked on in India. With the help of which health services can be provided within 24 hours by air, water or by road even in emergency situations.

According to the information given by the Union Health Ministry regarding technology, it will be a kind of container hospital in which all services including treatment, ICU, ventilator and investigation will be available. It can be used in natural calamities like earthquakes and hurricanes as well as emergencies like infectious diseases etc. For the first time in Asia, such technology is being worked on for emergency medicine.

The special thing in this technology is that the container can be transported anywhere by rail, ship or helicopter. The container hospitals will be about 36 meters long and 32 meters wide, with facilities for blood and radio diagnostics. The container will have ICU and ventilator beds as well as isolation wards and cabins for doctors, nurses.

Union Health Ministry secretary Rajesh Bhushan told about the container hospital that many containers are being prepared at one place. There will also be some containers that will be immediately assembled and made into a hospital. Work is being done on all types of containers, small and big. Containers of the size of six meters are also being prepared to hold small equipment.

The Health Ministry said that the container is being prepared in such a way that it is completely safe for doctors and other health-workers. According to the Ministry of Health, as railway coaches are connected, similarly many containers can also be joined together to make a complete hospital. The entire hospital will be ready in just four weeks and its model can be achieved by anyone.

The help of both technical and medical sectors has been taken for the planning of the container hospital. Experts from IIT and Delhi AIIMS have worked together on this particular model. Regarding this technology, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said that for the first time in Asia, two container-based hospitals with comprehensive medical facilities will be kept ready at all times, which can be taken by rail or air to deal with the situation at the time of any disaster or calamity in the country can be used rapidly.
