Hardik Pandya’s elder brother Krunal Pandya, who made his debut in the first ODI between England and India at Pune’s Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, has set a world record in his debut match. Krunal put up his half-century in just 26 balls, performing brilliantly against England. With the first fifty of his career, he has become the fastest half-century batsman in ODIs in the first match.

Krunal Pandya came out to bat at number seven against England and as soon as he came to the crease, he started sending the English team’s balls out of the ground. He scored his first ODI half-century with the help of a total of six fours and two sixes and also set a magnificent world record. Krunal’s innings has helped the Indian team to score a better score. When he was given the cap of Team India before the match, he also became emotional by embracing his younger brother Hardik Pandya.

Krunal scored an unbeaten 58 off 31 balls. Apart from Krunal, Shikhar Dhawan was dismissed for 98 and captain Virat Kohli also scored his 61st half-century. KL Rahul also scored 62 runs in 43 balls. India, batting first, scored a total of 317/5 against the English team. This is a three-match one-day series between India and England.
