The Philippines has a strong earthquake on Thursday 21 January 2021. These tremors have caused panic among the residents of the Philippines. A leading portal reported in its report that the earthquake measured around 7.0 on the Richter scale. According to geographic experts, this intensity is too high.

As per media reports, this earthquake occurred in the Philippines at 12:23 pm today. The epicenter of this earthquake is being reported in Pongduitan, 210 km from the Philippines. The tremors have caused panic among the people of the Philippines. People left their homes and ran outside. A local leading daily outlet Inquirer in the Philippines reported that the people of Davo, an important commercial center of the Philippine, have also felt the tremors.

The European Mediterranean Seismic Center (EMSC) has reported that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 122 km of the ocean. However, according to the reports reported so far, no loss of life or property has been reported. This area is an earthquake-affected area. Experts of natural disasters have clarified that there is no possibility of a tsunami in the region at present. There is a constant risk of tsunami in this area.
