The Agriculture Minister termed these laws as improving the economic condition of the farmers. He said that Prime Minister Modi has the vision to double the income of farmers and develop the agricultural sector. At the same time, we know that unless the farmer is prosperous, the country’s economic situation will not be strong ‘. He further informed that about 1.15 lakh crore rupees have been added to the bank accounts of about twenty-five crore farmers under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
The farmers’ organizations are continuously protesting on the borders of Delhi and are demanding the withdrawal of all three agricultural laws. So far, 11 rounds of negotiations have been held between the central government and the farmer leaders. But all these meetings proved to be inconclusive.
