Farmers’ organizations are constantly opposing the new agricultural laws brought by the central government, while on the other hand, the government is constantly declaring these laws in the interest of agriculture. Now Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar termed these laws as revolutionary and said that this will strengthen the economic condition of the farmers.

As per a leading portal report, Narendra Singh Tomar said that ‘We have brought these new farm laws to simplify the sale of produce to farmers and encourage them to grow crops that will bring better returns’. He further said that ‘we hope that it will bring revolutionary changes in the agricultural sector’.

The Agriculture Minister termed these laws as improving the economic condition of the farmers. He said that Prime Minister Modi has the vision to double the income of farmers and develop the agricultural sector. At the same time, we know that unless the farmer is prosperous, the country’s economic situation will not be strong ‘. He further informed that about 1.15 lakh crore rupees have been added to the bank accounts of about twenty-five crore farmers under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.

The farmers’ organizations are continuously protesting on the borders of Delhi and are demanding the withdrawal of all three agricultural laws. So far, 11 rounds of negotiations have been held between the central government and the farmer leaders. But all these meetings proved to be inconclusive.
