Now Union Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri has indicated to get relief in the prices of petrol and diesel. He said that talks are being held with Gulf countries, Russia and Saudi Arabia on this issue.

According to a leading news agency report, Hardeep Singh Puri said, ‘I am talking to my counterparts in Saudi Arabia, Gulf countries and Russia, we are working at different levels’. According to media reports, it is believed that after this statement of Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, oil prices can be reduced.

 

According to media reports, it is being told that the reason for the increased prices of petrol and diesel in the country is the increase in the prices of crude oil internationally. In many major cities of the country, petrol is available at a price of more than Rs 100. In the capital Delhi, the price of liter of petrol has gone up to Rs 107.24 per liter. While diesel is available at Rs 95.97 per liter.

On Saturday, for the fourth consecutive day, the prices of petrol and diesel were increased by 35 paise. Diesel is also being sold at a price of more than Rs 100 per liter in more than a dozen states of the country.
