The 89th Raising Day of the Indian Air Force was celebrated with great pomp at Hindon Air Force Station in Ghaziabad today. On this occasion, the soldiers and aircraft of the Indian Air Force displayed their valor in the sky. On Air Force Day, IAF Chief Air Chief Marshal VR Choudhary also presented the Vayu Sena Medal – Gallantry to the officers.

In the Hindon Air Force Station this morning, the brave soldiers of the Indian Air Force showed harmony by stepping in and IAF fighter aircraft Rafale, Tejas and Sukhoi also flew in the sky. Chief of Defense Staff General Bipin Rawat, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Karambir Singh and Chief of Army Staff General MM Naravane also attended the 89th Air Force Day celebrations.

 

Chinook and Apache helicopters saluted the chiefs of the three services present at the ceremony. Apart from this, powerful aircraft like Rafale, Tejas and Sukhoi made transformer formations in the air show and made the people present there to realize the power of the Air Force and Surya Kiran Aerobatics team and Sarang Helicopter team also thrilled everyone by showing spectacular celestial feats.

 

The tricolor made of 1000 kg of Khadi cloth was also one of the main attractions at the Hindon Air Force Station in Parghaziabad to celebrate the 89th Air Force Day. Apart from this, Rafale and indigenously made Tejas remained the main center of attraction. The members of Parajumper Team Galaxy performed brilliantly and jumped from a height of 8,000 feet and landed on the Parade Ground of the Air Force Station by parachute.

 

Addressing the 89th Raising Day of the IAF, IAF chief Air Chief Marshal VR Choudhary said, “When I look at the security scenario that I am facing today, I am fully conscious that I have commanded at a critical time. Has handled. We should show the nation that external forces will not be allowed to violate our territory’.
