In the ‘Tokyo Olympics’ today, the Indian men’s hockey team created history by winning a medal in the hockey event of the Olympics after 41 years. There is an atmosphere of great joy and gaiety about this victory in the whole country. People are constantly congratulating the Indian men’s hockey team on social media. For this achievement, the Prime Minister of the country, Narendra Modi has also congratulated the entire team while praising the captain of the hockey team Manpreet Singh.

Praising Captain Manpreet Singh, Prime Minister Modi said, ‘Today you have created history’. Congratulating Manpreet Singh as well as head coach Graham Reid, assistant coach Piyush Dubey and the entire hockey team for winning the bronze medal in the ‘Tokyo Olympics’, he said that Manpreet’s intention was clear today. Talking about the match, after 41 years in the history of Indian hockey, the hockey team has won a medal in the Olympics. The Indian team won the bronze medal by defeating Germany 5-4 in a very exciting match. India had earlier won a medal in hockey during the 1980 Moscow Olympics.
