According to a leading daily report, the serum institute’s monthly capacity to produce vaccines is 60 to 70 million doses. The Serum Institute is expected to increase this to 100 million. The report further states that Bharat Biotech is also going to double its capacity. Bharat Biotech currently manufactures two lakh corona vaccine doses. But by next month, the company is expected to increase this manufacturing capacity to five lakh doses.

According to the report, the Russian company vaccine Sputnik V is also likely to get approval in the country soon. After this, the supply of vaccines in the country will become easier. This is said by a senior government official. He has also told that there is no shortage of vaccines in the country right now. Apart from this, the second vaccine of Corona will also be worked out in the coming months. Talking about the country’s vaccination program, so far, 9,80,75,160 people have been vaccinated with the Corona vaccine.
