Today on 26 January 2021, India is celebrating its 72nd Republic Day. Every year the major attraction of this occasion is the ceremony held at Rajpath in Delhi. Where every year we get to glimpse the grand cultural heritage and military power of India. Today’s tableaux on Rajpath were special. Apart from this, FlyPast also started in a spectacular and unique way.
FlyPast began at Rajpath with the Rudra Formation of Mi-17 helicopters and the Dakota aircraft. Mi-17 helicopters hold historical significance for the Indian Army. It had put the country on the senses of enemies in the year 1947. The presence of Rafale fighter aircraft in today’s parade caught everyone’s attention. Rafael joined the Indian Air Force in September last year.

For the first time, a contingent from neighboring Bangladesh has also participated in the parade. Apart from the gallantry of the country’s army, cultural tableaux were also seen in the parade of Rajpath. In which the Ramandir and Corona vaccine caught everyone’s attention. During this time, the Indian Navy also displayed its valor with full fervor.
The impact of Corona on the celebration of the 72nd Republic Day was also evident. Only 25,000 people got the opportunity to watch the parade. Every year this number exceeds one lakh. During this time, social distancing has also been taken care of. This time the length of the parade was shortened and it was held at the National Stadium instead of the Red Fort.
