Vaccination of the citizens of our own country is most important. The contribution will be made to COVAX after meeting your own requirements. He said that surplus vaccines will be exported in October-December for ‘Vaccine Friendship’.

The Health Minister further said that the surplus supply of Corona vaccines will be used to fulfill India’s commitment to the world for the collective fight against Corona infection. COVAX is co-led by Gavi, the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovation (CEPI) and (WHO).

Mansukh Mandaviya while talking on the importance of indigenous research and production of Corona Vaccine said that it is due to the tireless efforts and guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi that India is simultaneously researching and producing Corona Vaccine on such a large scale. India’s vaccination program has been a role model for the world. He told that so far 81 crore doses of the corona vaccine have been administered in the country.
