Now the corona vaccine will be available to foreign nationals in the country as well. In a major relief to the foreign nationals residing in India, the Union Health Ministry has decided to allow registration for vaccination on the COVIN portal. According to the report of a leading news agency, foreign nationals will have to use their passport as an identity card instead of Aadhaar number for registration of the vaccine.

Foreign nationals residing in India can get a slot for getting the vaccine after registering on the COVIN portal. According to the report, a senior official of the Union Health Ministry said that a large number of foreign nationals reside in the country and most of them live in big cities. The density of population is high in big cities. Due to which there is also the possibility of rapid transmission of corona infection. As seen in the first and second wave of corona infection.

 

Talking about the ongoing vaccination program in the country, the number of vaccinations has crossed 51 crores. According to the information released by the Union Health Ministry, it took 85 days for India to achieve the target of vaccination of 100 million people. The target of 20 crores was achieved in 45 days and it took 29 days to reach the figure of 30 crores. Whereas after this reached the figure of 40 crores in 24 days and in just 20 days the figure of Xenation has crossed 50 crores.
