After the enormity of the second wave of corona infection, now the government is fully alert about the possible third wave of the pandemic. On the other hand, research is also being done by medical experts and researchers about how much children will be affected by the third wave. In this sequence, important surveys of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and the World Health Organization (WHO) have come out.

According to the report of a leading news agency, the survey of AIIMS and WHO has said that children are not likely to be affected much by the third wave of corona infection. The survey states that the seropositivity rate of SARS-COV-2 is much higher in children than in adults. Which means that even children have got antibodies to fight corona infection.

 

This survey was done in five states of the country. For which 10 thousand samples were taken. According to the report, data of 4,500 participants from four states have been included in the results for the medium-term analysis. Its final result is likely to come in the next two to three months.

Talking about the current situation of corona infection in the country, 67,208 new cases of corona have been reported in the last 24 hours. While 1,03,570 people succeeded in defeating the infection. Active cases in the country have come down to 8,26,740. Talking about the country’s vaccination campaign, according to the information released by the Ministry of Health, 26,55,19,251 doses of the vaccine have been administered so far.
