Corona: One-week lockdown in Delhi; Brakes at railway speed due to increasing infection, many trains canceled

The second wave of Corona has created a furor across the country. Every day there is a steady increase in new data. The capital of the country, Delhi, is also in bad shape. Given this, the Delhi government has imposed a week-long lockdown there. However, the lockdown was on since last Friday in Delhi. After the completion of the period, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has declared the lockdown again this afternoon.

The lockdown in Delhi will continue till 26 April. During this period, essential services are exempted. This lockdown will take effect from 10 pm today, 19 April. According to media reports, the announcement of the lockdown has caused panic among the people. People have come out of their homes to buy goods in large numbers and also gathered at bus stations in large numbers to flee.

 

 

Talking about the condition of corona in Delhi, there are currently 74,941 active patients infected with corona. The number of patients being treated in home isolation has also gone up to 34,398. In Delhi, the rate of recovery of infected people has come down from 90.12 percent to 89.79 percent.

Corona is also beginning to have an impact on the railways. Western Railway has informed on social media that some special trains to and from Western Railway stations have been canceled. In view of the situation, a large number of people are migrating from the metros. In such a situation, the risk of spreading the infection is also increasing. It is believed that in view of the situation, the Railways may cancel more trains.
