The Corona Vaccination Program is running across the country. But in the meantime, many rumors about the vaccine were also revealed on social media. Now the government has come up against those spreading rumors. The central government has asked for strict legal action against those who spread false news about the vaccine. According to a leading daily, the Center has written letters to all states and union territories on this issue.
Rumors may be cracked under sections of the IPC and Disaster Management Act. In his letter, Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla told the states that it is necessary to take action against such people to curb false rumors. The person or organization spreading the rumor may be subject to strict action as per the provisions made in the law.
As per the latest update, more than 1.6 million people have been vaccinated in India so far. But this pace is not going as per the target set. The reason behind this is the fear of hearing the rumors spread about the vaccine. Recently, rumors about the death of some people had surfaced after vaccination on social media. However, later these reports have been found to have no connection with the vaccine.
Now the central government is also conducting awareness campaigns in many places. So that fear spread due to rumors can be removed among the people. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also appealed to the people to spread the correct information among the poor and common people about the Corona vaccine.
#कोरोना की वैक्सीन भारत के वैज्ञानिकों ने भारत में बनाकर अपना कर्तव्य बख़ूबी निभाया है। अब हमें अपना कर्तव्य निभाना है।
