Software company Druva has raised $ 147 million led by Canadian CDPQ and Neuberger Berman. According to the report by web portal Entrackr, Viking Global Investors and Atreides Management have also participated in the round. The valuation of the company has increased significantly after Druva raised new funds.

According to the report, the valuation of Druva has exceeded $ 2 billion after the latest funding. Apart from CDPQ in this round, three other investors have research and development centers in Pune. Jaspreet Singh, founder and CEO of Druva, states that, ‘CDPQ’s long-term investment horizons, collaborative approach, regional expertise and global network make them a better partner’.

Jaspreet Singh further said, ‘We will expand the Druva Cloud Platform by expanding its reach and continue to invest in our product and technical capabilities. We will work together to further strengthen our position as a data protection and management provider ‘.

Druva provides SaaS based data security and management products for corporations and agencies. Druva helps organizations reduce the cost and complexity of data security, speed up and protect cloud projects, and increase cyber resilience and regulatory compliance. Customers of the company include popular organizations like Pfizer, Nasa, Akamai and Hitachi.
